Website Kit Manual D9 2024-2025--REVISED JULY 2024

Adding Content: URL Alias You can assign special, custom URLs to your content. For instance, let’s say you wanted something like http://www.examplelibrary.org/summer to make the URL easier to remember and to put on a flyer or poster. The syntax is /NAME-OF-ITEM Remember, don’t use spaces! URL aliases may have dashes or underscores to separate words. Examples: • /about/history • /storytime • /about/locations/main This box is checked by default. To create your own, custom URL, uncheck it. The URL alias field will then be available.
