Standard Content Types: Story/Article USED BY: All templates. Core, Core Plus and Hero have three (3); Hero Plus has four (4) The Story/Article is a type of content that is used only on your site’s homepage. Stories/Articles do not show up elsewhere on the website, unless it’s as a search result. It’s meant to be a very ephemeral type of content, used to promote new service or collections, or events. The Front Page Image field is required. Images for Core, Core Plus and Hero templates must be 410 x 130 pixels and Hero Plus blocks must be 925 x 300 pixels. Both should be optimized. Remember not to use clip art; your community institution’s reputation is not enhanced by using the same clip art that a third grader uses! Stock photos, graphics made in-house or photos taken at your library are all better choices. If your site uses the Core, Core Plus or Hero templates, the Summary field is required. This allows you to create a specific, short teaser for the home page. If your site uses the Hero Plus template, it will require the Teaser field, instead of the Summary field. The Teaser field has a character limit of 90 characters, while the Summary field has a longer limit of several sentences.
